I'm also a rare programming languages huntress, I've studied async Rust back when its design was but a blog note and used Fortran 66 in 21st century. Having said that, I'm hardly a loner - I teach, I mentor, I lead. And when the day is over, I grab some dice and play role-playing games. I have a cat and if the mood takes me, I'm known to try my hand at poetry.
