Open source – the gateway to IT

Open source is in essence, multiple communities of developers working and helping each other out while working on freely available source code. This could be a great place to start your IT journey, however, it can also be quite overwhelming and not always a great experience. I'd like to discuss some rules and ideas that can improve your odds of getting into open source.
