Christian Merkwirth is a seasoned Machine Learning and Deep Learning expert, currently spearheading the development of highly optimized AI microservices at Nvidia. There his team is optimizing TRT-LLM engines for peak inference performance.

With a passion for applying AI to real-world problems, Christian has led teams across diverse industries, from revolutionizing revenue management systems at FLYR Labs to enhancing driving safety at NAUTO. A true pioneer in the field, Christian holds the distinction of being the first person to train Graph Neural Networks using SGD already back in 2005. His extensive background spans full-stack deep learning, cloud engineering, and advanced data analytics.
